Gina Marie and the Golden Bucks blend vintage charm with modern grit, led by powerhouse vocalist and drummer Gina Marie DeGregorio. With roots in swing, country, jazz, and Americana, the band delivers a soulful, high-energy sound that pays tribute to the golden era of American music with the earthy industrial audacity that permeates Chicago-born sound.
Gina Marie and the Golden Bucks was born out of a deep love for classic American roots music and a desire to honor musical traditions while pushing their boundaries. Frontwoman Gina Marie DeGregorio grew up surrounded by jazz and country influences—including her father’s own Midwest showband, The Golden Bucks, whose name the group proudly carries forward.
Formed in Chicago, the band brings together seasoned players from jazz, swing, honky-tonk, and rockabilly scenes. Together, they create a genre-blurring sound that’s equal parts vintage and visceral—tight enough for the bandstand, raw enough for the roadhouse.
